On 30th June 2020, the official Instagram page of Ozark revealed that they are renewing the series for the fourth and final time. At the same time, the creators of the drama also announced that they won’t continue it further i.e. after the 4th Season.
But they didn’t say anything about Ozark Season 4 release date. During a conversation with Indie wire, popular actor Jason Bateman told that they will begin shooting for the drama from 9 November by adopting all precautions against this deadly virus.
“We’re going to start November 9. Everything is moving well toward that, and we’re very confident in the guidelines and protocols we’re going to be following. We’ve got tons of consultants, we’re learning a lot from other productions” he said. Apart from this he also mentioned that maybe he will not direct the initial two episodes which were initially organized.
He further said, “It’s just not responsible to have one of the actors direct the first two, given that we’re still going to be getting our perimeter safe [from COVID-19 infection],” Jason added, “Because if one of the actors gets sick, we all have to go home for weeks.” But he hasn’t given any hints regarding Ozark Season 4 release date.
So, I think we will have to wait for a few more months to know any updates as the actor earlier told us that they will start shooting from 9th November. Hence it will take at least five months to finish. As per that season, 4 will be released by the second half of 2020.

How Will Ozark Season 4 Plot Be?
In the last of season 3, we have seen Marty and Wendy getting more friendly with the Navarro which doesn’t happen earlier. After committing the offense the Navarro declared that it is just the start of a strong tie-up among them. The Bryde has impressed Navarro by putting efforts with the FBI to wind up the clan battle by declining the opponent Lagunas cartel.

He further included ”Ruth’s arc is that she thought she wanted to be a Byrde and realized that not only is it okay to be a Langmore, she actually prefers to be a Langmore… But there’s a real allure there for Ruth and there’s real emotion in the Marty relationship.”
He said that the Byrdes are not departing to any place by further elaborating “I think it will be about if the Byrdes can they turn the biggest mistake of their lives into this huge advantage,”. However, he didn’t disclose the names of all-stars who will be part of Ozark Season 4 episodes.
