Actor Parth Samthaan who plays a lead role in the popular TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay was tested positive for COVID-19 in the past two days. Director and Producer Ekta Kapoor prayed for fast health improvement for the actor.
On Sunday she posted a teaser of her next web series. By writing ‘get well soon’ Ekta uploaded the teaser, as per the sources the name of the web series will be Main Hero Boll Raha Hun.
The web show will be published on ALT Balaji, but the release date is still unknown. The teaser of the web series depicts Parth Samthaan as a dynamic person whose scheme is to establish his monopoly over production along with robbery movies in the entertainment sector.
What Ekta Kapoor shared about Kasautii Zindagii Kay Actor?
By posting the trailer Ekta said “Get well soon Parth! ‘Kasauti…’ is waiting for its ‘Hero’! (sic).”
Parth who will be seen as the main character in the upcoming web series ‘Main Hero Boll Rha Hun’ revealed that he was facing mild symptoms of Coronavirus. So, that’s why he choose to check himself for the disease.
The actor posted a note on his Instagram handle “I have been tested positive for COVID-19… Hence I would urge and request everyone whose been with me in close proximity over the last few days please go and get yourself tested,”

After testing positive for COVID-19, Parth revealed that he has isolated himself and he is constantly in connection with BMC(Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation).
“The BMC has regularly been in touch and with the doctors guidance. I am in self-quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support. Please be safe and take care,” The actor included.
The whole team of Kasautii Zindagii Kay has continued their recording for the drama in June after they were stuck at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
What Balaji Telefilms said on Kasautii Zindagi Kay Actor after being Coronavirus Positive?
In spite of revealing the name of the actor, Ekta Kapoor’s production company posted indirectly about the incident stating “Our talent from the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay has tested positive for COVID-19″
After the actor has been tested positive for the disease the production company has paused shooting of all their web series and shows. Balaji Telefilm Limited has announced this incident in its BSE filing as well.
“Further to our letter dated June 27, 2020, and in accordance of SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/CFD/CMD1/CIR/P/2020/84 dated May 20, 2020, this is to inform you that the shoot of all our television shows has been halted as one of our actors has tested positive for COVID-19,” Balaji Telefilms wrote.
“We are doing all that is required to ensure the safety of our cast, production crew and employees and until such time, the shooting of all our shows shall continue to be on hold till further announcement,” the company further included. The production company revealed that for them the health of their team members matters most.
“The health, safety and well being of the employees and the people at large being of utmost importance to the company, we are closely monitoring the situation, taking necessary steps as may be required from time to time and following protocols laid down by Indian Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC),” the official note included.
