This was to happen as the drama has secured stunning ratings on various trusted platforms. It has got fabulous 7.1/10 stars on the IMDb while 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Also, the drama was successful in making its position in Netflix’s Top 10 shows so it was almost certain that season 2 would come. But sadly there isn’t any official announcement about Into The Night Season 2 release date. Due to COVID-19 makers haven’t started the shooting of the forthcoming season.
But it is seeming very soon they will begin it and reveal the release date of season 2. If they will begin the filming of next season from next month then most probably we will be able to watch season 2 by the start of 2022.
How Will Into The Night Season 2 Plot Be?
The episodes of drama follow the book The Old Axolotl by Jacek Dukaj. And still, a lot more is remaining that can be shown in next season. The beginning season showed us about the survivors traveling through a private plane as all of them are making efforts to compete versus time and trying to protect themselves from the calamity brought by the sunlight.
At the climax of the first season, those survivors finally get a path to the bunker where they can shield themselves from the sun’s fatal beam. As the two left squads of survivors safely reached the bunker they took calm breathing. Thereafter, the commanding officer offered a solution to Sylvie on an ongoing issue.

We haven’t received any authentic details from trusted sources. But, as we already discussed earlier that last season ended on an unsatisfactory note. Also, it received amazing reviews not only from viewers but also from critics. That’s why it is looking that there won’t be any major changes in the cast of the upcoming season.
