Dorohedoro Season 2 Synopsis – How has The Story Unfolded Till Now?
Caiman is on the lookout for his true identity after a sorcerer transformed him into a lizard with no recollection of his previous existence. He fiercely confronts sorcerers in the Hole with his comrade Nikaido, with the goal of putting their heads into his mouth, where a bizarre face emerges from his neck and evaluates whether the sorcerer that he has bitten onto was the one who transformed him or not.
Caiman is impervious to magical influences in some way, and as a result, he is exceedingly hazardous to sorcerers, especially considering his stature and knife skills.
En is a strong sorcerer and the chief of an alliance called “The En Family.” He is warned by the stories of a lizard-headed sorcerer-killer unaffected by the magic and sends his alliance members, Shin and Noi to assassinate Caiman.
The sorcerer is currently trying to get rid of a gang consisting of not very strong sorcerers called the ‘Cross-Eyes’, after a clash with their celebrated leader proved to be very damaging for him back in the days.
Shin and Noi often team up with wizards inferior to them such as Fujita, who craves revenge after Caiman slaughtered his collaborator, and Ebisu, who has no recollection of her past after having her face torn off due to a casualty.
The story behind Caiman’s originality proceeds to resolve as the dwellers of the Hole, the En family, and the Cross-Eyes gang, among many others, resurface again, reigniting past rivalries and threatening to transform both the Hole and the sorcerers’ world.
Outside of Japan, Dorohedoro was made available on Netflix on May 28, 2020. On October 15, 2020, Netflix released the six OVA episodes as a single lengthy episode, dubbed as “Episode 13.”

January 12, 2020, marked the beginning of the series on Tokyo MX, and March 29, 2020, was the day when Season 1 for Dorohedoro got concluded. The first season constituted of 12 episodes on whole.
Since only one-third of the content of the manga was adapted in the first season, we can expect the production house to continue referring to the manga and adapt the events from the successive chapters. The remaining story could be used as the source material for the future episodes in Dorohedoro Season 2.
We are not aware about the references that the creators will take from the manga, nor are we aware about the number of episodes that will make up the next season. We cannot conclude the plot for the next season as we are unsure about the number of volumes that will be consulted for the making of the sequel.
As a result, we are unable to make any accurate predictions regarding the plot but the adventures of Kaiman and Nikaidō would certainly continue.
