After New Zealand, Tanzania becomes 2nd Country free from COVID-19.
Yesterday President of Tanzania’s John Magufuli announced important information regarding coronavirus live update in the country that there is not any coronavirus active case. He expressed gratitude to the citizens of the country for their support.
There were only 509 COVID-19 cases in the country from which only 21 deaths have been recorded and remains recovered from the virus.
Let have a look at what the president said to the country –
“I want to thank Tanzanians of all faiths. We have been praying and fasting for God to save us from the pandemic that has afflicted our country and the world. But God has answered us” he said.
“I believe, and I’m certain that many Tanzanians believe, that the corona disease has been eliminated by God,” he also added.
After listening to his statement people expressed their happiness through claps.

Further, he said “The health minister told me that we only have four patients in Dar es Salaam but this will not stop rumors to the contrary,”
“We need to be careful because some of these donations to fight coronavirus could be used to transmit the virus.”
“I want to urge you Tanzanians not to accept donations of masks, instead tell the donors to go and use them with their wives and children,” he also included.
