In a conversation with Deadline Executive producer, Liz Feldman said, “I always knew from the inception of the show that I didn’t want it to be a long long-running show,”
“Then there was a certain point when we were in production on season two when the end of the show came to me, pretty profoundly, so I realised, ‘I know the story that I have to tell’ and season three feels like the right time to do that. It’s just something that came to me organically, and I tend to try to follow the gut feelings I have.
“This show means so much to me and I just want to get it right, and I saw a way to do that. I think three seasons for this show is the right amount.”
The first installment of the drama was released in May 2019 followed by the second season in 2020. But if we talk about season 3, there isn’t clear when it will arrive.
Creator Liz Feldman revealed that this time script makers need 20 weeks to finish their work and they will not go ahead until they complete their task. The entire team is trying to do these works as fast as they can still they won’t be able to start production before December.
So, the production has not even begun yet. Hence, the drama won’t arrive before the last quarter of 2021.

How Will Dead To Me Season 3 Plot Be?
In last season we saw that Jen and Judy suffered an accident from coming Ben’s car. In the incident, the brand new car of Charlie got heavily damaged. And, surprisingly Judy was appearing in slightly better condition in comparison to Jen despite her being on the verge of the car where Ben’s car struck.
Judy failed to recognize Ben who was in the back of the wheel as quietly fastly he ran away from there by unlocking an entire fresh tin of worms. So, it’s obvious that we will see the story starting from here in Dead To Me season 3 episode 1. On the one hand, Jen and Judy have landed in big trouble while Ben is efforting to dispose of his car so that he can give an excuse that he was not there.
Apart from this Steve’s corpse is also remaining which won’t persist unseen for a large duration as it was previously discovered by a dog in a jungle.
Also, when Charlie explores Judy’s room he gets a letter which was framed by his mom, Jen for Judy. But, we didn’t get to see whether Charlie opened that letter or not? However, if he would have gone through it then he must have known about Judy’s hand in his dad’s hit-and-run death. To say nothing of his mom’s culpability in murdering Steve.
This letter is going to play a big role in confirming his guiltlessness as all cynical eyes are on him. And we all are aware of Charlie’s defiant character and that’s why it is looking like either he will extort Judy and Jen or will fill their lives from a mountain of obstacles because of his dad’s demise.
So, many tales are remaining that will be completed in the next season. Therefore, be ready to witness another action-packed season of the series.
