The American crime series, created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, is returning with its next season. You guessed it right! We’re talking about Better Call Saul Season 6. The new season would mark the sixth and final installment of the series that also happens to be the prequel of Breaking Bad.

Following the fourth season in sequence and story, Better Call Saul Season 6 is set in the year 2004. It highlights the transformation and progression of Jimmy into Saul Goodman after the lawyer is able to get back his license and deny Howard Hamlin’s offer on account of his brother’s demise.
The mysterious and unpredictable behavior of Jimmy shocks his wife, Kim Wexler. Her own steps to let things be and fall in with Jimmy’s ways so as to gain some progress in her work-life, add to her intense emotions and chaos. Better Call Saul Season 6 Release Date – Do we have confirmed news?
The renewal of Better Call Saul Season 6 is indeed confirmed news. All the fans would get the fruit of their patience really soon. The official announcement about the revival of the show was made by an AMC Executive on January 16, 2020. Given the note at which the previous season ended as well as Breaking Bad that follows Better Call Saul, a new season definitely was expected as some dots still need to be connected in the plot. Better Call Saul Season 6 would be the last installment of the series.
The shooting of the show started back in March 2021 but had to face some setbacks and delays. The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic situation did not spare this series as well. The series might have secured a release of 2021 but the coronavirus came out of the syllabus. Additionally, Bob Odenkirk suffered from a heart attack and collapsed while shooting for Better Call Saul Season 6 on July 27, 2021. Thankfully, he got stable and came out of it safely.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Cast – The expected faces for Season 6!
Since Better Call Saul Season 6 would be taking the same story from the previous seasons ahead, it would have the same cast members as well. Bob Odenkirk would be back in the role of the criminal lawyer and attorney, Saul Goodman, who has also been a scam artist in the past. In the role of Saul’s wife, the lawyer Kim Wexer, we’d once again have Rhea Seehorn. Jonathan Banks would be back as the former Philadelphia cop, Mike Ehrmantraut.
The show would also see Patrick Fabian portraying the role of Howard Hamlin. In other roles, Michael Mando would be returning as Nacho Varga while Giancarlo Esposito would be awaited as Gus Fring. Lastly, Tony Dalton once again takes up the role of Lalo Salamanca.
Better Call Saul Season 6 Plot – What is coming our way?
We do not have an official teaser or trailer for Better Call Saul Season 6 yet. This is a clear indication that anything that we’d predict about the plot of the show would be a mere ‘prediction’ that may overturn when the show actually releases. However, there are a few things that we can definitely and confidently talk about.
It would be really interesting to watch how Saul’s story would shape up and end in Better Call Saul Season 6 which also marks the end of the series. As per Thomas Schnauz, the executive producer of the show, the new season would showcase more violence on both physical as well as emotional levels.
All the five seasons of Better Call Saul that have been released so far, have had ten episodes each. However, the upcoming Better Call Saul Season 6 would have 13 episodes. It would also be the last season in the series, therefore, marking its end with the 63rd episode. Also, hints have been dropped that Better Call Saul Season 6, which is expected to release around spring next year, might be split into two parts.
