Mirzapur 2 Review: How Is Plot, Cast Performance, Music and Direction?

1. A Nail-Biting Story

Mirzapur 2 review

In the final episode of Mirzapur Season 1, we have seen how Munna kills Sweety and Bablu?  That’s why Guddu is in full revenge mood and Golu(Shwetha Tripathi) and Dimpy(Harshita Gaur) are helping him in each and every step towards his target. Also, he is now taking calculative decisions before using his Gun.

This time Rati Shankar Shukla’s son whom we have seen completely different in season 1 has now stepped into this crime universe as he aspires to accomplish his dad’s ambition of becoming ‘King Of Mirzapur’. Dimpy and Golu who were decent girls in the earlier part of the drama have now turned just opposite.

Now, their only intent in life is to finish the foes who killed their adored family members. Moreover, this time audience sees a contrasting character of all females of the city. Now, they have only one goal which is to attain the crown of ‘King Of Mirzapur’ by killing all rivals.

Even though many changes have happened in season 2 still the basic strategy for the battle is the same, either you kill or you fall prey to someone. To know who wins in this war you have to watch the drama as I don’t want to spoil your fun and entertainment level.

Mirzapur 2 Review: Cast Performance

Mirzapur 2 review

The actors have given a remarkable performance in the series, their hard work appears clearly on the screen. Pankaj Tripathi has again redefined the meaning of acting. I don’t have words left to praise his performance.

I consider the maker’s choice perfect for selecting him to play the role of Akhandanand Tripathi. No one could have played this character better than him. Apart from him, Ali Faizal is dominating in the drama through his fabulous acting. He started from where he ended in season 1.

His dynamic performance has played a crucial role in adding more stars to Mirzapur 2 review. Apart from him other previous stars like Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Duggal, Harshita Gaur, and others have delivered top-notch performances.

Mirzapur 2 review

How can I forget Munna Bhaiya(Divyendu Sharma) one of the most highlighting characters of Mirzapur’s 2 episodes? Divyendu has tried his best to fulfill the level of expectations of fans. We can say that he has become successful in doing so. He is just phenomenal in his character.

Apart from him, new additions including Vijay Verma(as Tyagi), Priyanshu Painyuli(as Robin), and Isha Talwar(as Madhuri) have shown a picture of effective acting. Especially, fans have liked Isha Talwar in the role of Chief Minister’s daughter.

Mirzapur 2 review: Script And Direction

Mirzapur 2 review

Karan Anshuman and Gurmeet Singh have directed all 9 episodes of the drama in a flawless way. From background score to screenplay all the things are up to the mark. In fact, some scenes are so nice that viewers can’t resist watching them multiple times.

Moreover, the scenes that are taken in Lucknow and Siwan are gracefully shown in Mirzapur’s 2 episodes. Now, comes the work of writers who have made such a banging script. They have made a tightly gripping and engaging story that was much needed to maintain the level of excitation in the nerves of people.

Mirzapur 2 review

They have written attention-grabbing and eye-catching dialogues for actors to deliver. Dialogues like- “Aurat Chahe Chambal Ki Ho Ya Purvanchal Ki, Jab Gan Uthati Hai To Isaka Matlab Hai Ki Dikkat Mein hai”, ” Kuch log Bahubali Paida Hote Hain Aur Kuch Ko Banana Padata Hai, Inako Bahubali Banaenge.” ‘”Gutkha Kam khaya Karo, Ta*to Ka Cancer Ho Jayega.”

But we all know that ‘Every Coin Has Two Sides’ and the same is with this series. In some episodes, the scenes become quite dark due to which viewers face hurdles to watch the drama. Apart from this, I haven’t found any fault in all 9 episodes.
