Is The 13 Reasons Why Season 5 Ever Coming?
Putting a full stop to all rumors Netflix declared that they will not renew the series for the 5th time. Therefore, unfortunately, we won’t be able to season 5 episodes next year. The OTT platform illustrated during an announcement that it was a completely innovative decision to finish the series on season 4 that will include the central cast’s graduation from High School.
The streaming platform also published a short video where 13 Reasons Why Cast is looking after their wind-up session for drama. The clip also has Alisha Boe, she portrays the character of Jessica Davis in the series. In the video, she says “I will never forget this experience for the rest of my life, so thank you.”
During a conversation with Entertainment weekly, Creator Brian Yorkey revealed that they planned to conclude the 13 Reasons Why in season 4 as they thought winding up the story on pupil’s graduation will sound quite rational.
He also mentioned that as they realized that the series will take multiple seasons to show the entire story they thought that 4 seasons will be perfect for that. He included that he feels a bit surprised when he sees several High School dramas continuing till more than four seasons while the high school has a duration of only 4 years.
“It felt like bringing these characters to their graduation and to scattering to their next things felt like the logical ending point, So for a long time, the idea has been, should we be so lucky to have the opportunity, we would do four seasons of this. So certainly going into breaking story for season four, we knew it was the end.”- he further added.
“I’m incredibly proud of our finale episode. I think it’s very special and it’s also supersized. It’s a supersized finale, so even if people aren’t super happy with the ending, at least they can’t say we were stingy,” he commented while talking to Entertainment Weekly.
Hence because of the above-mentioned reasons 13 Reasons Why Season 5 will not arrive in the future. So, if you have watched all of its previous seasons then it’s good and if not then you should all watch them as they are very nice.
