Yesterday, the trailer of A Suitable Boy TV series has been released on Youtube. The web series features Ishaan Khatter and Tabu in the lead roles. The web show is directed by Mira Nair and produced by Lookout Point along with Aradhana Seth. The web show follows the novel ‘A Suitable Boy of Vikram Seth. The other cast of the web series includes Rasika Dugal, Ram Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Randeep Hooda, Savita Kapoor, Tanya Maniktala, and Shahana Goswami.

The trailer shows Tanya Maniktala as Lata who was seen saying to her family, that she would never do a wedding although her family will offer to marry a guy of her will. While the other part shows the love between Maan Kapoor(Ishaan Khatter) and Saeeda Bai (Tabu). Their bond is the main climax of the trailer.

A Suitable Boy tv series has been distributed by BBC Studios and Viniyard Films. The web show consists of a total of 6 episodes which will release on 26th July 2020. It was the first time when Ishaan Khatter worked with director Mira Nair while Tabu has already worked with the director in the movie The Namesake (2006).
